Bought these shoes to replace Launch 6 for walking. The first and only time I wore shoes these Launch 7 for three mile walk, the shoes rubbed through the skin on right heel and I had to finish the walk barefoot. I was really disappointed and I now walk in the old Launch 6 shoes with a band aid on right heel while I wait for it to heal. I sure would like to trade these Launch 7 for a pair of Launch 6.

Feels different than Beast 18. I've been running on Beasts for over 16 years and the Beast 20 is still a good shoe, but I'm giving it 3 stars because it feels noticeably different that the earlier Beast in that it feels noticeably less "cushiony"" than the Beast 18. I can put my old 18's on and feel it side-by-side..it feels like there is less cushion and that the cushioning used is stiffer. Feels like it took one step toward being a ""connect"" shoe. The Beast 20 is noticeably lighter than the 18 and the fit is still consistent with earlier Beasts

It feels like Brooks used a cast of my foot when they designed this shoe.
