I’m 5’6” and weigh 160-165. I prefer to feel the road or path as I run. Unfortunately as I have aged, I need a bit more cushioning. Sciatic nerve irritates me on occasion. The Glycerin 18 was a move up for me in cushioning earlier this year as I entered my 60th lap around the sun. They provided an excellent solution for me. This is my second pair (2020) and they are just as comfortable as the last pair. First pair got around 500 miles before I realized they had lost their spring. Give ‘em a try.

I have searched hard for a replacement for older Brooks Glycerin. Need firm cushioning because of knee issue unrelated to arthritis. Pleased to find Launch.

My first real running sneaker, and they're a major upgrade from what I had been running in. Very comfortable with great response. The fit is just a bit snug; good with a regular sock, but I wanted to try a padded sock. With the comfort the Launch provides, the padded socks are not necessary.

Second pair of Launch 7's, 5th pair of Launch shoes. Great improvement over the Launch 6's for me personally. The 6's left me with some upper foot discomfort (nothing that kept me off the roads), but the 7's changes fixed whatever was causing that. Love the 7's, love Brooks

Bought shoes for my son, this is his third pair of this model. He really likes them. Great shoe.
