I'm not a Gazelle - more like a pachyderm stampeding. Add to that due to COVID 19 and my gym being closed I'm running on concrete instead of a treadmill. Lots of hills in San Francisco. Add to that my feet pronate. I've been using Brooks Beasts for years and love them. But all of the above has put a lot of stress on my knees. The Glycerin 18 has made a huge impact on my running - no more stress knees at the end of my 4.5 miles of city running. My only comment is they don't have the feeling of roll support I got from the Beast - but this may just be me needing to get used to a new shoe feel after half a dozen worn out pairs of the other. So far I love them and don't expect that opinion to change. BTW Brooks customer support - responded fast - answered my questions - extremely helpf

Just starting out and strictly treadmill right now. I have about 10 miles on them and didn't have to break them in! From the box to my feet to the treadmill...comfortable and carefree running!

Although comfortable, this pair of sneakers are already falling apart. Poor quality or workmanship. I bought after being recommended by a friend, but regret the purchase. Back to Nike!
